BLT part 2...

Here is that clip of Isaac sledding...

So while those guys were up at Beaver, Isaac and I went down to the lake.  Surprisingly enough, it wasn't frozen over at all, but a section on the beach was...

Isaac showin' off some sweet moves

Courtney and Andrew were determined to slide on the ice...penguin style

OK, so this is Isaac and I scaring TJ.  Yes we are horrible people for doing it, but what can I say, we all had a good laugh.

Sunday morning after we were all ready to go to church, the boys made up games where they would roll the volleyball off the counter and try and get it in the garbage can.  Each time though the task became a little bit harder.

Bear Lake was so much fun with the whole crew.  It was the absolute perfect way to start the new year, and I don't think I have ever watched Meet the Robinsons so much in just three days, but it was all worth it.

The B.L.T.

How did we manage to fit nine people on one couch you may ask...talent, pure stinkin' talent.
The Bear Lake Trip, oh what an adventure.  It all started with the tire tube...ya we had some technical difficulties with the tie downs, but we eventually got it all worked out.

The first night we all kind of vegged and watched movies...three to be exact.  Night at the Museum, Meet the Robinsons (which we watched at least once a day after for the rest of the trip) and The Sixth Sense.  Day two we headed up Logan Canyon to find the perfect sledding hill...which we did.

Here's an image from the top of the hill...do to the white-out, the extreme-ness of the hill isn't clearly visible.

Isaac, Steve, Spencer and Andy all worked hard on a jump.  Here are a few clips of how it worked...

This is Steve...

Andy...

(Do to technical difficulties, I will be posting his (Isaac's) clip separately...so very sorry)...and then there was Isaac...unfortunately the landing on his run was rough which brought an end to the sledding.  It's all fun and games until someone lands a jump wrong and messes up their leg...tisk tisk tisk.  Poor Isaac could hardly walk after, but I am glad to say he's recovered well and seems to be doing just fine besides the occasional soreness.

That night we watched more movies and some of the crew participated in a little game we like to call Spoons.  As you will soon see, it was just as fun, if not more enjoyable to watch.

Day 3 half the gang went up to Beaver mountain to ski and snowboard and the other half of us stayed back.  Those of us who stayed back put our time to very good use...

TJ made a really cool fortress

New Years Day

Grace and Em-Ba-Lem got up real early on New Years Day all ready to go skiing.  We met Isaac and his brother-in-law Rob up there and Gracie was ready to tear it up.  I will admit, we were all a bit rusty our first run down, but it did not take long for us all to get back into the groove.  Grace and I were chair lift buds for the day.  You will see we had some fun passing the time on the lift...

Going into the '09

We were all very excited about "headin' into the '09" as Isaac put it, but one cannot fully express the anticipation via blog.  The clip above may just do it for you though.

The Confetti Cake Extravaganza

Isaac, Em-Balem-Ba, Kanye-Gracie and I went to the store and had quite the adventure.  KG (otherwise known as Kanye-Gracie) was supposed to wear the beautiful crown made for her by Isaac, but refused...so so sad.  But I must say, by the looks of KG, I'm not sure if more sugar was the best idea for the both of them....hmmmm, ya.

Catching Up

So ya...not a drop of moisture.  But the trees were all really great, it was very hard to pick a good one, but we managed.

This Christmas was extra special though, because not only did we get one tree, we got two.  The second one wasn't quite as big in size, but it definitely trumped the one above in character...

That's right, a real state of the art Charlie Brown tree.  Originally we were going to use this picture for our Christmas card and on the inside have it say, "Money was a bit tight this year..." but seeing as we had hardly any time to even breathe, it never was sent out.
The Sunday before Christmas, as always, we went Downtown to see the temple lights.  Jess and Kum-Kum (AKA Kumi) had these really cool glasses that when you put them on and looked at the lights you could see snowmen and snowflakes...OK so it sounds kind of dumb, but what can I say, our family is easily amused, and proud of it!
Jess and Kum probably had the most fun with them than all the rest of us...combined ha ha.

Jake and I were just happy to be there, ah I mean just look at us!  Best cousins ever!

We were just trying to keep Jess in control...it was tough, ba ha ha ha ha, just kidding just kidding.

And wonderful Craig and Kimi brought Hot Chocolate to warm us up, they are the most thoughtful people ever.  To say the least, I enjoyed my Coco very much.
Oh what a magical night.

Christmas was so much fun with all the family, we all have so much fun when we are together.  I love my family and I am so grateful for all that they have done for me, I honestly don't know what I would do without them.  Each one of my family members has helped me grow and become the person I am today, so thank you and I love you all so very much!
